Not sure if there's a problem or not but I've fished lake 1 and 2 and have had no issues with Bill, always seemed decent enough to me and nice waters.

I know nothing about lake 4 though, never seen it since he had it.

Thanks for your reply. Fished 1 about 7 years ago. No problem with Bill.

My mates felt the same as they turned up to a flooded lake and he wouldn't talk to them and kept sending his misses down to take the abuse

Well it's another case of the act of nature being as it's right on the marne as I've been there when it's flooded also .
If you pick a dodgy time when the Marne is in flood who's faults that .
It only takes a large thunderstorm deluge and the lake will rise all the way to the car park ,
There is a wire fence to keep the fish in .
Anyway Bills a good egg never had a problem but then some customers can be a complete arse as well , met quite a few on various lakes over the years and I'm amazed they didn't receive a dry slap 👋

I've fished lake 1 during flood too, was well aware before leaving home to travel there etc. Another couple of people supposed to be on there while I was, refused to fish and demanded money back which Bill gladly gave them in order to get rid of them. Me and my mate enjoyed the lake to ourselves and had a few each

You're not wrong

Regards Bill and his wife, very accomodating with us. Our lake had been in flood, were told it should be safe to park up by the caravan but our car bogged down overnight and it would have created a lot of mess to get it out for a day or 2. In the interim Bill offered to take us up to the shops/go to the bakery if we rang him, which he did, told us to take our time while he had a coffee at the cafe....top egg

Are you sure?
