Well after being of work for 4 and a half months and being made redundant. And messing about finding a new job. I finally go back to work Monday. It's going to be a massive kick in the ball bag having to get up at 6am again for work. anyone else been in the same place. Lol

Yee I no the weekend are going to be busy on my lakes as still a lot of people on furlough. But I've got to get back to normal at some point. ( If that can ever happened to me 😂

We are all in this together, nobody asked for Covid. Some are enjoing being furloughed but many are not.
Any abuse will be frowned upon as others have to pay for it - they may be the fortunate ones in well paid work but don't take the mickey.

I've been out of work since returning from Vietnam at the start of all this in march , not claimed 1pence.had some work lined up for this week but now this tier crap has kicked in..im tier 1 but work was in tier 2..

It's feeling less like all in it together to be honest.
I don't begrudge anyone furlough pay as they were told not to work by government and had no say. There are those who have taken the Mickey with it though - employers AND employees and that will be the root of ill feeling - coupled with disparity in tier regulations and perceived unfairness in applying restrictions of course

Should've had furloughed workers assisting with track and trace, delivering supplies, shopping for the elderly, delivering schoolwork to underprivileged kids without a computer or **** teachers, anything to make themselves useful

to many trades taking the piss around my way.while in lockdown I thought id build a bar in the garden,im not a roofer so got some in to quote putting a vinyl covering on it..30sq meters cheapest price 2nhalf k..cheapest price for 3 black out blinds 780quid..all wanted cash also..im not one to knock someone a bit of beer money but thats taking the piss..
