I'm after a padded rod bag for 12'6" rods, 50mm ringing. I've always used sleeves in the past but would like a decent bag. Has anyone any user feedback on the ones available? There doesn't seem to be a great deal of choice. Preferably for 5 made up rods, but 3 as a minimum.

Cotswold Aquarius. They made mine to measure for 12.6 and didn't cost more and only took a few days.
Been using it for years and can vouch the quality is very good.

Custom carp products will make whatever you want,I had a slim quiver and heavily padded sleeeves made to order.On a par with cotswold as well.

Yeah I looked at those bud but was unsure if 12'6" rods would fit.
Has anyone seen the Avid A spec 5 rod in the flesh? They seem ok but are they long enough?

chub 5star will take them and is basically a copy of the CA savay bag at a third of the price.

Sounds like you've just bought a set of 12-6 Torrix?
Me too, and my second set, so I went about trying to find another Greys Platinum Quiver on ebay to house this new set. I managed to find one within days of looking, Quiver, Hood and 5 Sleeves £55 or £60 delivered and after a quick wash in the machine it's like new, still grinning.
They are OOP now, but they do come up on the bay from time to time and they have got to be right up there with the best rod protection available.

Ironically, I had one of those also but passed it on to a mate 10 years ago. He still has it and swears by it.

Would definitly look at Cotswold Aquarius. No others come close.
I've got both 12 and 13ft Trakker 3 rod bags, both are great and no issues.
