Hi guys,
Just looking for some thoughts. I have been using delkim ev plus for about 8 years and generally I have been happy with them however, I would like a receiver and a couple of other functions and I can't really afford the txi d. Therefore I'm thinking about getting a cheaper set such as the jrc cx. How much difference is there likely to be?

You could use dongles and a remote receiver
But they tend to fall out during swim changes etc
Maybe the Gardner attx alarms with remote receiver simple and
reliable and no more annoying bite alarms sounds echoing around the pond👍🏻

I use the JRC Cx and for just over £100 all in inc receiver
are good value. Fully adjustable with Vol, Tone & Sensitivity seem to do the job perfectly well.

Thanks guys, I guess I just need to try it. I'll see what they're like before I sell the delks, but I haven't used roller alarms in years so I just wondered if there were any potential performance problems really.

Bought the ECUs which are roller after having delks. One issue I find is double check the line is in middle of the roller, it sometimes sits to the side.

My Delkim ST's are 20 years old now, and until they die I am sticking with them.
I got the Gardner Attx dongles and receiver to pair with the Delkims, far better than getting new alarms when I know Delkims work.
I've added in Johnson Ross link, although they would need to order them in as Delkims are a 3.5mm jackplug
