hey up lads n lasses, looking to buy a couple new reels, my thought are either :
daiwa windcast qda
okuma 8k
fox fx9/11
daiwa black widow

which you think is the best option and why? all advice is appreciated thanks

wind casts, few of the lads on my local use them and swear by them.

don't touch fox reels.....

Going to be selling my FX9's as the line got caught behind the spool too many times, lost complete confidence in them.

Nice reels but seems a common problem unfortunately.

Cannot comment on any of the other reels you mention.
Have Fox FX9's for the last 3 years been faultless except for an hand full of times the line gone at the back of the spool. Must say that was pilot error. The one thing that does let them down is the retrieval. Takes quite a while to bring back at 100 yards.
At some point in the future I will upgrade, not in any rush at the moment.
They look and balance my 10fts nicely.

shimano tx2 3tc, 15lb touchdown
