Hi everyone. Just joined up after lurking around for a while. Mainly fish for Barbel on the rivers, but do fish the odd session for Carp on a local club water.
I've recently bought myself a new Avid brolly system. I can get all my gear in no problem, but I'd like to take my Lurcher with me sometimes, but she doesn't have enough room in there with all my stuff in it. I've considered a brolly extension, but I don't think Avid make one. Does anyone know it the Fox extension would fit the avid ??
The Avid and the Fox brolly systems are very similar in width, just wondered if anyone has tried it ??

Could always buy a tarp to extend your brolly, DD hammocks make some good value and small pack down options.

May be worth looking at the jrc universal porch extensions, I'm not sure but in the absence of any other options got to be worth a squiz.

Unless you can try them you won't know,it's not just the size but the zips maybe different

I have a JRC bivvy Porch that i use for my long trips. Had to take my German Shepherd for a few days last year and he slept in his bed one side with plenty of room to spare.
Makes the bivvys footprint big mind.

Thanks guys. Looks like I may just have to take a punt. The Fox R series one is £75. The zip looks the same.
Both the Avid and the Fox brolly systems look very similar, and in the videos of them being erected, they do look like they're the same, just a slightly different peak.
