I wonder if anyone with a carp porter mk2 initially can measure the frame width please.

Just got rid of my Fox explorer done a swap with my mate for a MK2 prestige, you could be onto something there or perhaps adapt THESE by taking the mud feet off the Fox, I would say the box they make the frames out of is practically a like for like, I can check tonight for you when i get home from work.

Cheers Ian, yes its either use the singles or see if the mk2 adaptor set is the same frame width as the explorer

Outside to outside of frame is 505mm the box tube is 25mm square outside.

I make the explorer frame 500mm with 25mm od box so with a little adjustments and some washers I think i could make the carp porter set up fit
ordered some mk2 triporter conversion legs so will post up results

bits arrived today
Perfect fit
just need to sort some higher handles, however when loaded it should push okay by pushing the load (maybe)
not so bad height wise in reality
tightened up nicely so probably will not bother about a hole for the locking in
Oh yeah and the carp porter panners fit perfectly FYI
also If it looks a little high at the front it has just been fitted with the universal carp porter front suspension kit just cut one of the supplied 2 spacers in half for a more or less perfect fit on the axle +/ - 2mm

I have a brand new polywrapped set of Porterlite 2 original handles and a set of straight handles after pimping my ride to 3 wheels and the pushbar handles.

I think i could do with a set of pushbar handles although pushing the load worked as did a sprint style approach to pushing in standard explorer handles.
2 person - 2 day trip before the rods went on, oh! and dog bedding tucked at the back:-)

as long as you balance it so if you have to pick up for manouvering it makes it a breeze.
