I think I may have finally convinced my wife to let me put leftover groundbait in our freezer as I usually have to throw it away after a fishing session so I'm trying to save money and time. Does anyone know of a cheap bag I can get that seals which isn't too big as I haven't got loads of room in the freezer...

I use cheap bags but double bag as well for anything I freeze fishing wise.

I froze my groundbait Saturday but it still feels slightly soft. Is that normal? I thought it would go rock solid. Will it be ok to use next time I go fishing?

It'll be fine. Is it heavy in oil? Heavy in oil my method mix only just freezes, the old Dynamite method was the same when loaded up. Bit late but I use Tesco single zip lock bags for mine.

I didn't put any oil in. Its dynamite swim stim red krill and I've mixed in custard powder, salt, curry powder, strawberry angel delight, grinded boilies and pellets and a tin of hemp seed and a tin of sweet corn...

I've caught a lot on it. Its working well. I just don't know if it will be OK after freezing?
