Any decent free weather apps for Iphones? Possibly one without adverts as well.

I use met office, gives all the info you need, rain, temp, wind direction, pressure, sunrise/sunset

I've always found for the summer Accuweather is the best but for winter YR.no is definitely the most accurate. Rain Alarm is quite a useful tool to study satellite cloud imagery and the rain alarm is pretty accurate too

I work in construction and most people either use bbc/ met office or XC weather....

I find the bbc is pretty good but XC weather seems more accurate on times etc...

Problem with weather is it's all an educated guess

Met office app for me found it to be mostly correct 98% of the time 👌

Anyone with the xc weather app are you having problems logging on to it ?

It won't let me open the app ?

Was yesterday back up now though

I downloaded the Met Office one after seeing it recommended on here and thought it was terrible, was totally wrong most of the time, weird, still getting much more accuracy from the BBC one

The thing is - there are so many places you can get weather forecasts from. The Met Office, the BBC, ITV, radio, the net and a myriad of apps. They all claim to be very accurate but if they were then they would all say the same thing - and they don't which shows its all down to interpretation.

So, if you don't like the weather forecast, look elsewhere until you find one you do like!
