Hi,

Just took delivery of my first bait order since starting back up again.

Just wondering if the smart liquids are designed as a hook bait glug?

If so is there an maximum length of time you would soak baits for? Does it effect the buoyancy of the pop ups if soaked for too long?

Thanks

Never used them but seen the ads. It seems a thickish liquid so probably little value in soaking pop ups in it for any length of time as it wouldn't penetrate. Better to give a coating before casting out and then no need to worry about it affecting buoyancy

Don't think it's a glug, more of a coating before casting out.

i tried the cell smart liquid the weekend. Coated a pva bag and placed it in water and must say it didnt really do as per the youtube clips lol. It just broke down in clotted bits and floated to the top of the water line.

I would say if you try it to probably smear it in firmly on hookbait/pva bag etc which is probably where i went wrong. Either way wasnt overly impressed if i have to be honest.

ps its like a paste no point soaking your boilies would do nothing

Have you used it much mate?
Just watched a video by Lawrence East where he mixed it in with his pellets then put then in a PVA bag. Must say that appeals to me.

Used it just the once so far, not seen anything to say it's a fish catcher, though did have a few takes using it. Saw that with Loz East, but did my own tests, spreads out and through the water columns nicely .

Cool, thanks.
Wonder how it's going to work in the colder water over winter?

Think I'll test it, gonna put some water in the freezer to bring the temperature right down then try it
