Hi guys,
I will be fishing for five days straight towards the end of sept, I have a trakker v2 brolly system with the ground sheet, will it keep me dry with no skin, front panel, top cap I have spent many nights just under a tarp and have stayed dry.
Whats your thouhts?

Hopefully it won't leak as it is brand new, im to scapitical about advanced weather fortcasts so i haven't checked yet but if it was to be raining would it be enough shelter

A front panel would be a sound investment. I have one and only use it in a driving rain. Otherwise rainwater gets inside the brolly and makes life a bit miserable. I camp out all year round in my Tempest and that's my only luxury. I don't feel the need for second skin, top cap or groundsheet, although I might consider the last if I camped somewhere muddy.

Got a 2 brolly and never used a solid infill panel and typically been fine. Just ensure you angle the opening away from the prevailing wind as otherwise you will get some rain inside as I have had a few puddles build up where the wind has changed direction over night and it has rained heavily. I was fine as was most of my gear but something to bare in mind

Well IMHO the best thing is a skull cap mine NEVER comes off

in the real summer heat makes it one hell of a lot cooler thats an indisputable fact
and in cold conditions it really helps to stop condensation in the place that matters the roof
and in the rain the little peak helps a bit too

Completely agree with you mate, the skull cap is a must in my opinion I use mine all year round

My skull cap never comes off. For the reasons mentioned 2 posts below
