Due to back/hip problems I want to lie rather than sit during my day sessions. What is the smallest lightest bedchair? Doesn't need to be amazingly comfortable, just as long as I can lie.

I use a Cyprinus standard one, it's small and light, spot on for me as only about 5'3" it is reasonably comfortable, but I upgraded the comfort courtesy of Gerry with a small self inflating camping mattress, again light and compresses well when the bed is folded.

Wychwood tactical is light and cheap.
JRC X-lite is a bit more money but I believe is the lightest on the market

Jrc xlite is good as it has the old school wheel system so you can adjust the angle of the back and even use it like a chair

Even though it is 9 kg it is worth considering as it is a good quality bedchair
If you want light then the Wychwood tactical compact will be a better choice but if you need space 4 cm less wide bedchair is a lot of space that you save in your bivvy / brolly

Trakker rlx superlite I use mine with a trakker 365 sleeping bag and it's not heavy at all can easily carry it with one hand
that reminds me, I must weigh my original Nash wideboy. its still wide
and still going. and personally, i like the lift at the head end, and the pillow.
but , jeez it is heavy.
sometimes on short night sessions i take my old JRC stealth. its lovely to just swing it into position
with one hand
maybe ive missed out on light but big and comfy beds in the last decade
