Random question..

Does anyone use boilies coated in liquids and powders In throwing sticks?

Or is it best to just coat in oil etc and leave powders off

Can't say I've done it, it may work even if it does you'll have to keep the bore of the stick clean. Probably better with a spomb etc to be honest

That sounds like one big mess lol

Yes and no problem just have to flush the stick through with lake water a bit more often but they go out fine.

I have found that if you put a liquid and then a powder this is the kiss of death for the throwing stick as it just clags up and you need to break out the catapult...then you get covered in the gunky goo! Reach for the spod. If it's just a liquid or an oil then you should be ok with the throwing stick though.
