I'm after some confirmation re the above hooks, specifically the equivalent curved shanks. Could anyone who as some of Jamie's curves in size 6 compare them to a Kurv also in size 6? I'm interested in the gape, size, o/a length and gauge if possible.
I've seen Jamie's hooks and I'm impressed with the sharpness but I've been stung with hooks claiming to be one size and usually they are a size smaller.

In my experience the JP hooks are smaller, more to do with gauge of the metal with the ones i compared to Korda and Gardner, very little in it mind you.
I will only buy his hooks in a size 4, 6 and below just didn't look man enough for big fish on a weedy water.
Some have been over sharpened too.

Thanks for that, just as I suspected, the cheaper end hooks always seem to come up small, I've landed cats to 60 plus on the Kurvs in size 6 so I know they are up to the job. I notice he has some Euro curves coming out soon may wait and try those in a 5.

That's the ones i will be using, very close to the Mugga. I will stick with 4's, more hook the better in my view when angling for bigger fish especially with wafters and pop up's.

I've been using these hooks for a few years now and I fish in weedy waters and not felt the need to go above a 6. I love his curve shanks and a size 6 is my go to in most circumstances and I have not suffered any issues with landing fish in tough conditions on these. Did get a pack of size 5s this year just to see and used them to good effect so cannot see me using anything other than either of these sizes going forward as suit my fishing and rigs very well
