Hi, I purchased a solar bedchair this season and find it uncomfortable due to being too firm. I sleep on my side and it feels like sleeping on a hard flood. Do I sell it and get something else or get a self inflating mattress. Any help would great or if anyone has gone down that route with a firm bedchair you opinion would be much appreaciated.
Cheers

I know it may not help but experts say
By far the healthiest option for most people, sleeping on your back allows your head, neck, and spine to rest in a neutral position. This means that there's no extra pressure on those areas, so you're less likely to experience pain. Sleeping facing the ceiling also ideal for warding off acid reflux.

You got the SP C Tech one? That's what I've got and it felt like I was sleeping on the floor. Funny thing is, I've now got used to it and it doesn't bother me at all, in fact it's the nuts.
For ages I've been used to a 10cm deep inflatable mattress and it was a shock using the Solar number

mine is the standard one, it replaced a nash ss3 airmesh which had gone saggy. Positives are sitting on it is so much better and the build quality is good too. Did yours get softer after time?

Not too sure if it has or hasn't softened to honest. Had it since last September. Following the first nights kipp I had on it - I sleep on my front - I thought I'd broken my neck. Was mangled for a good few weeks, plus it used to make my hand to numb. All of that's gone now, so maybe it has got softer.
I like it. Proper well made. Much better than the Fox bedchair I had for years.
How long you had yours?

Bear with it and if it stays rock hard, go with the inflatable mattress option. I was going to buy an inflatable for it, but then all of a sudden it just stopped bothering me.
I know where you're coming from as it really agg'd me. I've not tottered up how many nights I've done on it - was out every weekendf from September up until mid December, did a fair few nights on it mid February untill lockdown and have done every weekend since the waters opened up after lockdown.

Its exactly how I got on with mine. At first super firm, and as I sleep on my side it was hurting my hips, but for most of this year so far I have not had it again.
Already have a inflatable mattress from when I had my last bed chair so may give it a go to see how much better it is
