I've recently moved and only have a 6x4 shed now to store all my gear. I'm after examples of how to store all of my fishing equipment and any clever ideas for space saving. I had screw in hooks on my last shed to hang up bags and nets. Might just have to reinforce it somehow to do this again. I also wanted a small freezer in there so if anyone could recommend a make or model that wouldn't take up too much room that would be great

Beko do a good freezer that's suitable for a shed
I keep all my expensive stuff i.e rods reels and alarms in the house for piece of mind
Also got four padlocks and deadbolt on the door

I might be wrong but I think that Beco are the only make suitable for use in a shed. The rest start to defrost when the shed temp approaches freezing!

Beko all the way.
MIne's been running in the garage for 4 years no problem.
AO are a good place to shop for them, you can filter the list for outdoor use.

You need to get all your gear off the floor to save space mate. Have a look at 2nd hand racking on the bay. You can pick it up for next to nothing.

Biggest problem with freezers would be the frost free function. Definitely avoid that.
Beko under counter works well for me and not too dear either. Also a freezer with drawers gives the option of a shelf over the top.

Go down the tip and get a free one. Just look for one that still has the sign of ice or water and it should be working.

If its a wooden shed i would invest in a steel locker for putting the more expensive items in, rodents aren't getting through those metal panels. Ive still got an old BT double locker with shelves,15 years old and cost £30. Bivvy, bits bags, stalker set up all go in there and also lockable so another defence against the thieving scum of the world
