It's my first time back on the bank since I was a teenager in the next couple of weeks... 10 years it's been and I cannot wait to take my son.
My Delkim TXI standard alarms have been kept in a dry place and look fine. However, 2 out of the 3 alarms when I place a new battery in them are beeping constantly. 2 bleeps per second.
I am using a new battery and have kept them in good condition. The sensor still bleeps if I run line through it. However I do not know what would cause the continuous bleeping? I've also give the sensuous a clean.
Any advice would be great - or if there is a Delkim specialist on the forum - please point me in there direction

Not 100% but isn't that the noise they make when it's being paired to the receiver??

No there is no receiver to these alarms and never has been
UPDATE - having put them in the airing cupboard they now work. However the volume on the one is awfully quiet - has anyone ever experienced this before with a delkim? Any recommendations would be appreciated and certainly save me a few quid

Sounds like they probably need a service. Probably got a lot of dust and spiders in. Mine have had similar issues in the past. Don't forget they are getting on a bit now so are likely to start diminishing.

I bought my txi's in 1999 and they are still going strong paired with the rx2000 receiver (I bought them from leslies of Luton - back in the day - still have the boxes with the price tickets on) I'm guess yours are of this era.
I'd say it could be just a dry solder joint on the speaker terminal. Just needs re-tinning or maybe it's failed, or maybe it's the speaker drive that given up on the PCB due to moisture ingress
I'd say if you can't find a specialist drop delkim an email.

Dalectronics is the place to go. Delkim have no spares for them anymore. Found out with my rx2004 wh this it gave up.
