I've done a search on google and from what I can see it'll be okay BUT I thought I'd ask on here to double check...
I've recently bought the nash bivvy hook and the magnet is beyond strong, so I wondered if that'll have any adverse effect on my digital scales if stored next to eachother (will be touching I'm sure at some points)? I've got the Ruben ones if it makes a difference

If your worried just move the scales?. You don't need to get the scales out of the bag until you catch a fish. Unless your an angler that unpacks everything they own and has it laid out everywhere. I prefer to keep everything packed away I can't stand kit everywhere.

Well yeah itll be in the bag and I'm not the kind of angler who brings 15 bags for 15 different things as I prefer to take minimal gear ideally in 1 bag. Maybe I should of made the orginal post a bit clearer as I can see your confusion... I meant to write that the scales are in the same bag as my magnet and as I'm not the type of angler who spreads out gear when on bank or when it's in the garage I wondered if this will effect the scales.

Move the magnet? Surely it's small enough to store elsewhere in the bag. Stick it to your barrow or something?

Yeah was thinking I could do that worse case scenario but thought I'd see if I had too as I've seen online that it should be okay but I'm not 100%

I know magnet fields can affect some strain gauges and accurate measurements can need special equipment in the vicinity of magnetic or electrical fields.
There is enough doubt in my mind not to put a magnet near any digital scales. However whether a magnet would cause any significant loss of accuracy or permanent damage to a relatively cheap and simple weighing system I couldn't tell you, but I would suggest a call to the manufacturer might give you some definite info if you speak to the right person.
