Hi,

I've got 2 Daiwa Tournament 5000T in used conditions.
It's the version that's made in Japan.
Does anyone know what these are worth?
I'm willing to sell these but have no idea about the value.

Think they have always been made in Japan. They are definitely made there now. Probably get 125 each minimum for them. All depends on condition, and boxes , bag etc etc

Started going for silly money on ebay at the last few weeks

You can still buy 5000t's brand new so not sure why they go for silly money

I know you used to be able to pick them up for £100 a few years back seen some go for £5-600 for 3 recently

Same as why SS3000 spools sell for £110+... People will pay for the vintage look. If the shops sold their 5000's with scratches on, they would probably sell more of them!

I've seen a good condition set of 3 with Weston spools and wooden handles in boxes go for as little as 450. You never know though. As stated people pay silly money for used on eBay
You'll probably get 150 each in good condition .
Mention Terry once looked at them , will probably add value lol.

I bought 3 for £350 in October. For some reason they are mega expensive at the moment on ebay.
