Do Perch has the same chemo reception as other fish?

Was thinking of incorporating a small 12mm pop up into my lob worm rigs instead of air injection, and two birds one stone, I was considering one that actually triggered a response rather than just popped up a lob (if possible).

Any suggestions please chaps?

No idea but I always considered a predators response a lot more instinctive.

Interestingly enough I had a perch on a pineappahell from a solid back this week

Not by design unfortunately - had a savage liner and then brought it in 30mins later and was attached

Had a 4lber on 18mm source. but at 240 yards it got retrieved like a 4Lb bream so there was no Crabtree about it

I have caught them on the way in snatching the bait now and again but on a few waters over the years I find Pike can be a nightmare if they decide they like your bait!

I don't like them, horrible things
