Totally agree with B&Q being able to open, garden centres can't so that's strange.
Fishing is one sport / pastime that has always on the whole been about isolation and staying away from the crowds.
The thing is we will all be back on the bank soon enough, just don't think I will go in the first week as most places will be packed.
Not long until the rivers open so a bit more space then, that's where I will be heading with any luck.

B&Q were never told to close in the first place. They are classed as a hardware store so were permitted to remain open from the start, just as Wickes did. They took the decision to close off of their own back, I guess because they couldn't guarantee the safety of their staff until extra measures were put in place.

I believe the Angling Trust have submitted a proposal to government on the re-opening of fisheries, they await a response.

Perhaps it was only certain stores that closed, ours stayed open click and collect only though.
