Apparently there's 4 in there range, the one I'm looking at is just called the solar bedchair for £199 has anyone got one and is it worth the purchase?
Looking for something solid without the sag.. had been looking at a few but very little reviews, except carpology vids.. where everything is good lol doesn't really help.

unfortunately, as far as beds go, reviews are only relevant to the the person who reviews it. I have bought beds in the past that were supposedly brilliant but found them to be the opposite. you will get sincere responses that greatly differ.... because we have different needs.
There is another thread going on beds ... with a suggestion of trying beds out. Great if you can do it.
in my opinion there must be lumbar support that you can adjust and generally the more you pay the better you get.

I havent got the solar one you mention but ive got the wide sp ctech bed and its by far the most comfy well built bed ive had and the build quality is superb. It much more comfy than my flatliner and nash indulgence bed i had before it. I would like to think the cheaper veraions are made of similar high quality materials.

Everyone has mention the top solar as the nuts so looking at the spec of the lower one it seems very similar.

I have the Solar C-Tech bed & wouldn't change it for anything else out there at the moment.
Thinking of replacing the wife's Fox Flatliter Mk2, and was looking at the Solar Undercover Bedchair which is around £95!
Looking at one in the shop before the restrictions were bought it, I couldn't see much difference between that & the C-Tech at over 3x the price! The mattress felt similar in comfort & tension. Weight was slightly lighter than the C-Tech & I could easily cope with a lesser frame strength because I don't weigh that much myself!
To put it bluntly, if I was looking for a bed myself at this time, I would be seriously considering buying the Undercover & another Fortis sleeping bag instead of paying so much more on the C-Tech alone - even if it meant slightly less comfort (isn't a lot at all after laying on both in the shop) because the Undercover doesn't have the 3D mattress (allows air to flow/trap underneath the bag/body to keep cooler in summer & warm up faster in winter).
In fact, typing this up is making me want to place a “Mail Order” order for one with a local shop for the wife (but really an excuse to have a lighter bed than the C-Tech for overnighters)

I have the SPC tech and its by far the best I have had (upgraded from a Nash SS3). Agreed its heavy but worth it for the comfort on anything over 25 hours. Given that im a big lad and have a bad back so some may be better for others.
I would say there is a big difference between the standard bedchair and the SPC. Firstly its not sewn into the fame like the SPC so will sag a lot more (especially over time) Also when I had them side by side at the NAS they padding on the mattress (if you can call it that) was a lot softer and not memory foam on the standard version. As said a lower grade of frame, hinges and feet mechanism's.
Agreed for overnighters or a spare it may be worth it as a lot lighter but if I had to have one it would be the one SPC-tech

I'm currently using the cyprinus copy of the wychwood tactical first version which was only £50, has done well so far.... but these Solar ones look like a bit of a revelation/new thinking has gone in to the design process... Just a shame there isn't any to look at near me!

Had the nash wide of for as long as I can remember and its been great, only fish in France so no heavy lugging.
It went saggy and I've took advice on here with the paracord but just can't get it right I'm certainly on the larger side, with the cord there's still a gap where the wheel is thats right in the wrong spot for me
Bought the solar wide ands its a different kettle of fish rock hard and vey very flat but very comfy even sitting on its a pleasure.
Trouble is I forgot me pillows and that's what u need with these flat beds good pillows otherwise you feel like your on a backwards slope
