Hi all,

I hope you, your family and friends are well and safe

Please could I have some honest opnions on trent baits in particular to their freshwater shrimp and liver shellfish, am looking for a new bait for when we can get out again.

I know both baits get great reviews so it's not a question of quality just more an honest appraisals of them as I can't decide between them.

I generally fish silty meres and weedy park lakes in the northwest.

Thanks and keep safe

I know some very capable anglers who catch consistently on it and swear by it. Especially the shrimp. They've used it for a good few years, that's a good enough review for me, and speaking to the owners at NAS I'd have absolutely no issues buying from them, decent lads, helpful and very customer focused.

My mate has done well on the freshwater shrimp baits on the Yateley lakes.

The bait is brilliant. The service is great. Really good bunch of lads. There is nothing more to say really. I can't praise them highly enough.

Thanks guy's appreciate your feedback

I think I'll give Dan a call and talk to him about the 2 baits. It's hard to decide between the 2 maybe I could mix them together

I'd happily use any of their baits but for me the shrimp is the one. It's done the job everywhere I've used it.

I'd also not hesitate to use any of their baits. I've always done better on the Liver shellfish compared to the Freshwater Shrimp personally. The SAS Squid is not to be overlooked either. I've had some great results on it.

Always had excellent service from Trent Baits and their baits are second to none.

I have done very little fishing in the last few years but when I've gone I've used their baits and felt very confident, helped by the fact that I caught my first 40 on their bait 3 years ago.

Trent baits will be amongst the best being used on any water you fish, if not the best.

Every order I have had is the same top quality and made fresh to order.

Awesome, thanks for the replies fellas.

It certainly seems like its confidence in a bag. All the time you can take such confidence on the bank it's one less thing to worry about.

Find em, put it where they wanna eat it....job done

Where do you guys stand on mixing 2 baits ie..freshwater shrimp and liver shellfish, best of both worlds or just complicating things?

I've never felt the need to mix baits.

you could ask if they will do like hutchy done a few years ago from what I remember you had superfish base and a liver base then I think it was martin Clarke who started blending the two then it came out on general release as a blended bait

Both standout baits , I have mixed them , only because I had both in the freezer for different types of water , and was emptying the freezer , they worked great , but no need to mix them .
