They've informed me their having problems with deliveries with royal mail during this national crisis.

No, maybe a touch slower than normal but Royal Mail are doing a fantastic job given current circumstances. That said I've used bank tackle for a long time and found them to be nothing but excellent, I don't consider them a ‘fob off' company.

I think most post offices will have staff on sick leave and there must be more than ever buying online so it will be slow at the moment. Bank tackle always arrives on time so I wouldn't worry unduly.

I bought some Bank Tackle bits on Sunday and they arrived Thursday, good enough for me

They had to re send my delivery after waiting over 2 weeks. To be honest i waited as I wasn't in a rush, contacted them and they re sent. This arrived next day, great service.

Royal Mail are usually pretty good to be honest, I'd much rather a seller use them than Yodel or MyHermes. Can't really blame Bank if there are a few hiccups with the post at the minute.

I ordered a few bits on Monday from Bank Tackle, arrived Friday I think. So probably a bit slower than normal.

I ordered stuff last Sunday which arrived yesterday, Friday.
A very acceptable timescale, in our situation, I felt.

Normally all my items arrive next working day if ordered before 14:00. last week I ordered Sunday and it arrived Friday.

Two orders haven't arrived for me, one back from end of March. Peter has been top though, excellent communication and I've already mentioned to him that I'm happy to wait a few more weeks to see whether they find there way to me, or back to him, given there are far more important things to worry about at the moment.
Although I will say, I moved to a new area last year and royal mail round here are shockingly bad anyway.

Yep had a order take a week to arrive from bank tackle last week but that is down to the current situation going on in the country every other time I've ordered from them it's turned up next day

Postal service as a whole is knackered at moment. Sent a parcel (Tempest V1 Mossi Mesh) to another poster on here on 15th sent Tracked & requiring a signature. Took 8 days to reach him! Other items sent the same day via Hermes, Yodel & DPD all were received in 48 hours at only £1 more cost!

I ordered a few odds and sods from bank tackle a few weeks ago, and normally they arrive within 48 hrs.
However on this occasion 4 days later and no delivery.... I contacted them and advised of the non delivery and I understand deliveries might not be as prompt as usual and I'd wait a few more days and advise further.....however they resent the order which arrived the next day.....if the original order does turn up I'll just pay them for both orders as it was end tackle and you can never have enough swivels etc.
Proper spot on company who customer services is second to none....cheap and good customer services you very rarely get both.... From me.
