Just saw cyprinus new bivvy, looks pretty good, seems a shame everyone bought a typhoon then they release this, looks like a tempest again but a little higher i guess.

I don't get it, what do you want a £600 bivvy for £200 that looks like a £900 bivvy.. un****ing believable, I think think these are good value tbh, a brolly man myself

Because it's not going to be Trakker spec etc, i'm talking about the Typhoon not the Storm by the way.
Fortunately i'm not too bothered about cost and i'll stick to my Mk2 Tempest.
You have to laugh at all the references to Trakker products, makes you wonder how they get away with it, not that it's illegal.

Im curious ... what is better about Trakker spec? .... (i dont own Cyprinus but was under impression they were equal in terms of specification/material used etc)

I'm not sure on this I had the aqua fast and light and my mate had the cyprinus version. My mates didn't look same quality. But for the price he paid compared to me he definitely got the better deal. This was when cyprinus 1st brung theres our tho

They were identical. Mine even came in an aqua box.
I'm a bit confused about them taking the piss on the price? Seems to me it's a tempest composite with vents/ground sheet etc for £189. That seems like a bargain to me.
Both my cyprinus shelters are of equal quality to their Aqua equivalent but a fraction of the cost.

It looks a little like the Tempest BUT ITS NOT THE SAME!!
As stated it's not the same material, the mechanism that puts it up isn't the same , the manufacturers history and back up is NOT THE SAME.
