Any one know if the Kampa carp 1 man bivvy is any good and worth getting as a bivvy? Would it puncture or burst easily? Is it ok in the freezing cold and the boiling hot weather considering it's a inflatable bivvy?

I've got the 2 man and had no issues with it. Although now surplus to requirement.

Saw the one man for £150 online the other day. Cant really go wrong at that price even if it lasts just a year. I think they are quite low so not much good if your tall.

Just got mine and have spent one night in it.
Heavy, and not too tall but feel spacious.
Must say it oozes quality and seem very well built.

Yes ... Its heavy but its so good its worth taking
Ive got the overwrap and thats heavy as well ... But when I use the two together literally zero condensation
Very easy to erect and ive been out and bought a another one and stuck it in the loft for when this one gives up the ghost
Ive got a Trakker V2 with everything and in the winter ill always take the Kampa over this as once the wrap is on its virtually built proof ... Yes the purists will say its not very carpy but its dark in the winter so now one can see it !!

through both of the recent storms. I think its a brilliant bit of
kit and I wouldn't consider using anything else at the moment.
It goes up and down very easily indeed. Its very well made and knocks the
socks the likes of Aqua and Trakker as far as quality is concerned.
Its not heavy at all for what it is. Its no heavier than my M3
and it packs into a short rectangle shape instead of a long
awkward bag which is a pain in the arse on the barrow.
Highly recommended.
