Looking at one of these two barrows but unsure on which one to choose.
The Trukka looks very similar to the explorer just you cannot get to the bags from the side/under the barrow like you can with the explorer and the fact with the luggage is £200 cheaper.
Anyone got/use the trukka?
I know there is a a lot of good feedback on the explorer deluxe but £300 is a lot for a barrow

I've had a TFG Trukka for a couple of seasons and get along just fine with it. You can get a hell of a lot of gear on it, especially with the sides extended right out. The luggage it comes with is pretty good and you can get a lot of gear in them, the only issue like you say is that you can't access the ones in the bottom once you have other stuff loaded onto it. I don't find it a massive issue, I just grab whatever I need out before I load the barrow if I'm going to need anything.
You can get strap on side bags for it but I've not felt the need to get them as it has ample capacity. I've not had a puncture yet and the tyre holds pressure fairly well. It is fairly heavy but I've not got anything to compare it against but it has stood up well to abuse.
I did just have a look and I see they are about £110 from GoOutdoors, I managed to get mine for a fair bit less than that as an ex-demo on Ebay.

Avoid the Trukka! It carries loads but falls over at the slightest uneven surface/breeze/sneeze/fart. Pain in the rear to push, even if you balanced it to the ounce. I went Tri-porter and am very happy now.

Angling direct doing deluxe for 164.99 and you can get the luggage at good prices too.I love my deluxe its so easy to push and versatile for shorter or long sessions.

went to have a look at the trukka yesterday, thought it was quite good and seemed stable.
The weight distribution will be slightly different to the porter I have at the moment but think will suit my requirements well.
Liked the barrow bags which came with it and I have read that if you shorten the handles this resolves how hard it can be to push as you can improve angle better

The Explorer deluxe is well worth the money and you don't have to buy the Fox luggage to go with it. I use a Chub Vantage medium barrow bag on the front. The clips that hold the two sections together are the perfect height to fix it to the front. Loaded properly, it's a dream to push.

I shortened the handles on mine, helped not having to do the shoulder shrug to push, but didn't help the balance. If you get it, don't overload the front like you'd do on a normal barrow.

I had the big boy tri porter and that was the same and a nightmare to push in the mud as it just stuck to the big chunky tyres.

I've got the regular triporter with standard wheels. Don't have the mud problem, only issue is that it pulls to one side if the wheels are adjusted evenly. The Trukka would just nose dive in the mud.

Did you get the Trukka mate? If so how did you get on with it? Considering one now and moving away from my Fox Low rider, which is good but no longer really fits with my angling which is overnighters at best
