You're missing the point the IPSA awarded the pay rise it wasn't the MP's awarding it to themselves.
Don't get me wrong I don't think they deserve anything, they should be the last in the queue to get a pay rise, they are lucky still to have jobs.
All this pay award thing or lack of it shouldn't come as a surprise though. It's a case of if you still have a job you are lucky and for many the reality of sitting at home doing **** all and getting 80% pay people was fine for most people but now the realisation is many no longer have jobs and those with jobs will now have to pay for it. I think Noj pointed this out the other day.

Tier 3 for us! The whole of Kent because of 3 areas!
They shouldn't have put the whole of Kent in for this its unfair and the bug doesn't appear to be moving outside of these 3 areas. I live in the hotspot of Swale and there is no explanation of whose got it and where. It appears to be mainly on the Isle of Sheppey, this has 2 prisons on it and I wonder whether its this causing the rise.
Shutting down the whole of Kent is a political move to show the North they aren't forgotten or singled out!
I see Boris has come out of hiding again, no reason after negative test he couldn't have emerged into the light to face scrutiny! ****!
