There was a few on here that know all about blanks rod building etc that get shot down talking about it . If people are happy to pay £100 for a rod thats upto them . Some good blanks being produced in china . Some not all. ***** guides poor whipping cheap glues and resins i could go on and on . No point .

I think rod discussion can be up there with bait discussion. There are some that see them for what they may be, a long bit of carbon that puts a bait where you want it and pulls it in with or without fish. Or an artisan craft.

Cheap bait (pellet and corn) and cheap rods (kaizen green) arguably catch as many fish as rods that cost £2K a set or bait that costs £12 a Kg or £1 a hookbait.

Neither should be shut down as rubbish and both make interesting discussion if that's what you are into (or make your living from)
