I know a guy who used to buy mainline from a tester. Cheap. However he has moved on to Proper carp baits now.

Anyone remember the story about a well known sponsored angler piling mainline bait in from a wheelbarrow and when he turned up to actually fish someone else was in the swim he had created so he set up further along only to rise early morning and be asked to do some photos of the very big common he had been targeting.

Consultants get a certain amount free than can purchase basically at further reduced rate to sell on, most mainline sponsored anglers will sell you bait at 60 quid for 10kg

No idea what tge mark up is for them


As for general field testers I think they can also do this?



For general field testers non mainline I'd say a proper tester should get bait at production cost - you shouldn't make money off of people will to trial and work on things with you as they are an asset.
