Not reverse taper. Just a nice, sensible, large diameter pole meaning thin wall, very stiff, very light. Spot on.
My glass net is just as stiff, similar diameter. Fractionally heavier maybe, bit rougher round the edges but tough as old boots. I use the carbon in 6+3 length for normal fishing and the glass in two 3ft pieces for boat fishing.

A few posts on another thread stating the the new Korda Spring Bow is as good as the Dymag mk3. Be interesting to see if this becomes the new top dog in the net world.

The CB nets look like real work horses, I like them. The reverse taper handles have their own sensible purpose l, I believe the intention is to be able to plunge the handle securely into the margins for a few minutes for fish retention.

Maybe not, but top end money doesnt mean its guaranteed to be top end does it. Time will tell. I wont be buying one. £100 is more than reasonable for a decent net. Anything over that it needs to be pretty amazing to justify the cost

Its easily as well made as my dymag nets, block is even better imo. So easy to get arms in and out and is a work of art and even nicer than the dymag. I love the curve to the arms when there in and looks so much nicer than straight arms. I cant believe how light and stiff the handle is, its even stiffer than my cb handle and thats stiff. It feels just as light as my dymags but havent got one weigh it against anymore. I just weighed my cb carbon handle and the korda one and the korda is 279 grams and my cb handle is 420 grams so its loads lighter. One thing i really dont like is how stupidly deep the mesh is which kind of makes how light the pole is a bit irrelevant but they are bringing out a shallow mesh in a couple of months so not a problem and will fix that issue. The overall finish of the entire net is superb and better than any other net ive owned including my dymags. Even the stainless spike on the even end of the handle is exactly the same diameter as the pole and perfectly flush. Just little things like that makes you see they have really took there time to get it perfect. The bag it comes in is top notch as well. Im tempted to buy another one as a second net 😀

Just back from the tackle shop and had a look at the Korda net. Nice looking, light. The mesh is unbelievably deep - almost 5 feet? Must be for retaining fish in a decent depth of water.

You nearly had me sold on getting one,until I saw the price. Also the mesh is too deep for my liking. I'll stick with my CB for now. Unless I get a windfall after they bring out a version with a shallower mesh.
