Isn't France holding its hand out for a billion euro bond to help them out? Still they may just get French business's to contribute a lot more now a major eu revenue source is coming to an end.

Chin up brother.
I reckon stuff will happen before the end of the year, it's amazing how quickly things can be organised, especially when there's such a lot of people depending on it.
No summer festival season though - trying not to be too happy about that

Rod Stewart told me he has never worked since joining the music industry. Not sure I believe him though, some of the women he's dated look like very hard ward work.

I'm sure most are in the same boat as me.I have worked since I left school,this staying at home is not for me but if its keeping me safer and my family so be it.I love my fishing but no way am I going yet,it just would not be fair on my wife.My wife has stayed open through all this as a childminder plus got our 3 at home.It would be very selfish of me to piss off fishing leaving her to it

Well, back in the house. That was a quick session. Went to my main water for this year and it was packed out. Opened the gate, anit bacteriad the hands and had a walk. Back to the car, repeat and home. Thanks but no thanks

My advise, watch what your touching chaps, gates and padlocks etc. makes you a bit paranoid to say the least!

It's going to be a very different June 16th this year for a lot of us. One of my waters, quite rightly have said they are going to limit numbers at the start on the whole complex. I suspect another one of my waters might do the same thing. The water I was at yesterday has introduced time limits, 48hrs then you must leave for 48hrs in an attempt to limit numbers and make sure everyone gets a chance to fish.
If might not even bother to fish the start this year and just go a few days into the season and try to miss some of the chaos.

I guess we are all the same, we just want to go fishing but I guess there has to be an element of self caution too
Can't see me getting back on here for a few months now. Got me thinking how many people have handled the locks and gates etc
If they are a closely monitored water I think they could easily make some positive steps forward, one swim in, one empty around the waters and limit the bookings around this. Take all the locks off, keep gates open etc too
