Yes, because it was a pointless idea then, and it's a pointless idea now.
I don't care if some lake that I am never going to fish has banned something. When I fish somewhere, I check the rules and abide by them. If I am not fishing somewhere, their rules simply don't matter to me, whether we're talking about leadcore, hooks, fish retention, bait boats, 48 hours in a swim, anything.
If something isn't banned at a venue, it doesn't mean I'll use it either.
Ultimately, I'll just ensure that I adapt my standard approach if the rules dictate that I need to.

Only in your opinion certainly not in mine
the POINT was to save people going out wasting their hard earned cash on buying the gadget only to find the venue they planned to fish had banned it
by having a list of the venues that banned it ( lots are day ticket) it would help you but as normal
thick ***** ruined a good thread and rather than moderate it the mods chose the easy route and removed it as far as I can tell I dont know I was in hospital when it got removed

But if admin doesn't like it, then I'll follow their lead..... in the same way anglers should follow the water's outlawed kit rules

it was beyond moderation, so moving to mod room was indeed the easier and less time consuming exercise.
The best and probably the more normal route when visiting a fishery would be to check rules before you go anyway

I totally appreciate the (free) effort admins put in to forums - will always take the admin's side in a debate, even if I'm the other side of it.

think we all tend to try our best and let things run until they get too silly. If a thread has countless stupid comments that are in the main, not valid, its just as easy to get rid of it.
