If they have confirmed the van helper forged the signature they are admitting fraud and forging a signature is a serious offence. You bought the net and paid for the delivery through Graham/Dymag ? If this is the case they are responsible until you receive it and should therefore be sorting it out and I can understand your frustration.

More annoyed with ups than Graeme but it feels that since he got proof of a so called signature he does not seem interested. No disrespect Gerry but coming from you who rants and moans about most things its a bit of a joke.Merry Christmas

I have done multi drop driving and it only takes a minute or two more to knock on at a neighbours
So have I and at this time of year with 200 drops or more, a extra minute on even a 1/4 of your del can make a huge diff to your day. I'm not condoning his actions.
I've had 2 experiences like yours both with drivers who know me very well.
The last 1, he signed for me but delivered it to a neighbour who then went into hospital for 2 weeks...that was fun. Luckily I had dash cam footage to show I wasn't in at the time (maybe a option for you?) The shop sent out a replacement and then I had to phone them to tell them it had been del...I don't think they believed me.
The previous 1 I really felt for the driver, he signed for me and left it by my front door, problem was I had just gone on hols for 2 weeks..it wasn't there when I came back :-(
EDIT, if you have google maps enabled on your phone it may also show you were out at the time. I'm not sure how to get the info but I know it's there if so

Non of this is Graemes fault at all I'm not blaming him at all its down to ups.I even rang Graeme the day the net was finished as he had told me the balance and he had put 202 when it was 222 so I'm no liar but ups are making me feel like I am and I'm hoping Graeme knows I'm not either.
It's gutted my wife as it was my Christmas present from her

I'm surprised ups would admit to forging a signature temp driver or not, I send rods fairly often and they never admit anything ! I've got a horrible feeling you r not going to see that net mate, hope I'm wrong.im also surprised they will speak to you about it they usually only deal with the sender.

He has to sort it out - and with his overall responsibility for getting the net to you - I would hope he would go above and beyond to keep make you happy. Very bad advertising for him otherwise.

I rang an 03457 number I think it was and he got the local depot at Tunstall to ring me within the hour which they did I spoke to a guy called Steve who had rang the driver who told him it was the helper who dropped it off.Im on my way home now so fingers crossed it is across the road with the neighbours

There is only so much Graeme can do as 1.its the weekend and 2.once it leaves his hands its down to ups to do what they are paid to do.

My landing net is in my house the neighbours just knocked on they had been away for the night.It is absolutely stunning exactly what I wanted and I cannot get over how light it is.
Sorry to Gerry if I was a bit off earlier in the thread but I was so pissed off but I'm very happy now.
