WTF? I can't believe even with this evidence Ali has managed to blame it on the angler and has somehow sweet talked this guy into allowing it on his lake again... crazy!

I simply don't understand why the fishery owner would u turn.
What is there "to bottle"? He's seen a fish, attached to this mini anchor and it balled in weed. That's it, end of story.
Its clearly not going to end here either. The aesthetic means this will be regular and repeated. I really don't see a natural way out for this device.

Owner must want the ticket money compared to the odd fish death , even the most experienced angler can crack off , less so than newbies, but it's newbies buying this item and certain lakes attracting them .

And to quote the angler who retrieved the fish, the mouth was badly damaged thanks to the twig. Rather than recall the product Ali has smooth talked the owner. OMC is a disgrace.

As is the fishery for being able to be talked round. Probably got promised a video on there or some sort of promotion in return.
Ali really has dug his hole, climbed in and is slowly burying himself. The image he may have had is long gone and it's makes sense why he went his own way. Guy thought he was gods gift to angling, it must hurt realising he isn't.

and have you seen the latest "back in stock" underwater videos on Ali's instagram? 3 different fish picking up the rig and none of the twigs actually trigger in the video, the fish is clearly hooked from hitting the lead, lead is well and truly lifted and then the fish bolts off, meanwhile the twig is still not activated... sooooo even the people who are using it under Ali's instructions are not using a lead big enough so that the twig is triggered before the lead is lifted.... I guess these people are perhaps the sort of person that Ali is blaming for not using it correctly??? just shows what a gimmick this piece of crap really is and how it is definitely not needed and just causes a hazard to the fish...

I want to say "I hope that the magic twig dies" but after all the defending, the lack of though that went into the product, the lack of fish safety that Ali has, the way he has dealt with people who are questioning it and the clear back handers he's giving people to allow it or big it up I actually hope OMC goes under.. I for certain will never buy any of their stuff after this....

Yes they will survive , when you blunderbuss us with loads of " the best on the market" some will be fine . Iv said all along that I look at all company's products , tbh all OMC is just average stuff called a silly name . Curve , chod , wide gape , coated hooklengths , aligners , it goes on but nothing other than the twig that you can't get from multiple carp orientated people. When he started up I was interested to see how he would just not copy Korda but more or less has , other than clothing and tbh korda does that fine , so I was a bit disappointed.
Tbh ND have pushed innovation more .
