So, you're saying it can't be done. Here's the proof of what I've been saying about 0.37mm mono. This is what Terry Edmonds said on his Facebook page on 11th May.
Freespirit 13ft 3.5 su CTX and Daiwa windcast being cast 185 by my client 10lb line and leader. Also had casts to 160 yards 0.37mm mono and leader. 4.5 ounce leads being used to combat the wind ✌️

Using a shock leader and very forgiving 3.5tc rod. Over the last 2 years I've tried at least four different 13ft distance rods that will snap 0.37 xt straight through and a 4oz lead.

Yeah, they'll crack off because of angling error. It's not the line and it's not the lead. 0.37mm can easily cope up to 150 yards straight through. But, beyond that stick a leader on.
4oz is well within tolerance. So, why would you want to use light leads on a deep large lake with loads of undertow? Doesn't make sense

Tuitions have been interesting this week from boiling hot and sunny to wet through lol. Loads of gains 20lb fluorocarbon being cast 140 yards, to 15lb 0.37mm straight through over 150 yards. Technique proving once you understand, you can cast anything.
Re spooled my spools ready for the weedy lakes on my syndicate, also one that sinks decent 👍🙌
