Not true, the supermarket doesn't portion quaker oats into those individual pots or sachets with all the branding on them etc, supermarkets are mainly small mark up high volume outlets.

You are correct, to a degree, but it wouldn't surprise me if they paid no more than 25p a pot, that's still a mark up of 400% on a pot, and that is high volume stuff, with this, we are certainly at the moment talking low volume, so the mark up doesnt surprise me one bit.

Far from it, I've already said I wouldn't be buying it but can see the appeal. I said earlier that it was a niche market, but imagine expanding into the camping market, it could work, there are probably more lazy campers than there are carpers 😃

I don't know where to start with all that is wrong/daft about this as a concept - but maybe googling Fink Food before going with it as the brand name would have been an idea (there's already a company with virtually the same name - so getting a good search ranking is going to be interesting from a marketing point of view...what's the betting all the individual packaging is all plastic too - so not exactly a good environmental story either...

Another example, 50g of Kellogs cornflakes for 99p.....Asda do 1.2k for £4....if you gross up Finks price that would cost you £24.....
