Yes, it goes on and I'm not surprised.
My friends father in law, her own dad! Told him to leave her, and/or not put up with it, but no, hes not allowed to have hes phone on after 6pm.....there's far worse as well. Such a lovely bloke as well.

At 62 I've seen first hand some men and women can't be on their own and move from one relationship to the next, I've known women go from an abusive long term relationship straight to another without ever spending time alone and getting to know themselves.

A freind of mine is in a similar position now, he is only allowed to do one over nighter a year and has to hide money away and save up so he can buy bait for that session or even food. But his mrs goes away countless times a year and is constantly buying new crap for the house. Thing is aswell he has taken her on with 2 kids that ain't his, he is a lovely bloke feel sorry for him so we try help him out a lot with sessions and bait, even tackle

Sounds like one of those blokes you see on documentaries in those S&M clubs with a collar on being lead around on a lead asking for his master if he can have a drink of water out of his doggie bowl. There out there.
Some blokes love those slave/master relationships. A guy I know who works all the hours that there is 7 days a week has to plead to his wife that he needs some money to fix his car to get to work, she on the other hand galavanting around buying herself £500 handbags. She was going to leave him, he actually fell to bits.
A friend of mine, his wife was getting polled by every Tom, Dick and Harry, even got rodded by a fireman, joking, I said to another mate 'wonder if he had a big hose' this mate I knew found out and went total bat**** crazy stalking.the bloke who nether had ever met before and blamed the bloke for banging his bird, like she wasn't raped or anything, she was the more than willing participant in all of it. He's now devorced and an alcoholic who's in a wheelchair and more than likely to have body parts amputated because of his drinking.

I find it hilarious when they bang on about "that's it, I'm going to be on my own from now on, I don't need a woman/man in my life, I'm just going to enjoy my life from now on and stay single", two weeks later, "my new girlfriend/boyfriend this, my girlfriend/boyfriend that" love asking the question, 'er, so I thought you wanted to be on your own for ever and stay single, what happened to that?' they make up some ball****, long convoluted answer about some long lost love of theirs just "happened" to txt them out of the blue and it's true love and that their planning a wedding, oh my f..cking god it's so predictable.

The very worse thing that I hear is "I wished I'd listened to you sooner", some people you just can't save them from themselves unfortunately. PainfulI watching and hearing it all. When I get one of those types, I'm like 'oh yeah' and just ignore it now, just can't invest my time in all the nonsense, it's just so tiring.
