Its true what has been said about what he does on Facebook as he posted about a member on here put his Facebook profile and said to give him a load of ****. I made a comment on Facebook when he left another bait company on their page and he blocked me Lol
Undoubtably caught a lot of big carp and I assume a very capable angler, loads of free time and bait also helps, What he also has are mental health problems.
Anyone who acts the way he does has to have some kind of issue, as alluded to in the filmed interview,he completely ignored some really interesting questions because I don't think he understood half of them and he also seems to like to project an air of mystery And aloofness which he either believes in himself or he thinks other people do.
Fella I know fished with him at fen drayton who said he got on ok with him but he was a habit of rubbing certain people up the wrong way and this I think is half the problem.
He is in a small minority of Angler's who spend their whole lives pursuing big fish, when you analyse this bunch the majority of them have no children, no real possessions and a lot of them have no partners.
‘ normal ‘ ? Angler's on limited time with mortgages , full time jobs and children are never ever going to achieve what these so called ‘ top' boys are going to it's physically impossible.
Now, if he doesn't consider you to be a ‘ top ‘ boy he thinks your a sheep and that he is far superior ( in catching terms he very likely is ) than you this I think is where the problems start.
Something somewhere triggers this mental feeling of superiority whether it be drugs, drink, bullying or sexual abuse as a child something makes him think he is better than you and the fact you have all of the things in life that he doesn't Will not register with him because of his lack of intelligence or mental issues.
If he'd have chosen the ‘ normal' life he would have made an outstanding shop steward or traffic warden something along those lines whereas everyone thinks your a **** except other traffic wardens or shop stewards.
Every ‘ normal ‘ angler with an ear to the ground knows he is a lying, cheating ******* that causes problems wherever he goes, getting bashed up, having to run away from people threatening him on lakes because he has said something about them all points the fact that he has mental health issues and the feeling of superiority stems from this.
So there you have it my thought on the man, you either agree or disagree depending on your outlook on life but I will also add, you will probably gather from my post that I am not a fan and I have my reasons which I will not explain on here, I have never met the retard but if he had said to me what he said to one of my good friends I'm pretty sure I would be in prison and Jim Shelley would be dead.
( footnote ) Shelley never actually said it he got one of his ( top/sheep ) to make the call.

What has been said that isn't fact? For starters I have proof of him lying about fish weights and I have proof that he's stolen fish.
I've witnessed him baiting & poaching more than one lake, one of which is owned & run by an angling club so it's actually theft of fishing rights & not just poaching. We're not talking about a bit of romantic 'guesting' that everyone gets so hard over these days.
I wonder how you'd feel if he was skulking about in the bushes of your lake, inviting his friends down, removing fish and then having the audacity to have Elliot down there doing a film with him.
I know it was him who was moved on by Police during lockdown because I know who rang them after he was spotted.
The sprayed message in the swim that I put a photo up is real too.
