While at the moment most (if not all) golf courses are still open, club houses are not well most of them! Obviously bar and sit down eating facilities have stopped but clubs are still allowed to provide take away food services which I do find strange
Golf clubs are taking extra precautions in regard to contact on the golf course, ball washers removed are or of use, rakes removed, golfers instructed not to touch the flags or clubs now starting to remove the flags completely and so on and so on. Competitions involving many members meeting and teeing off at the same time (shotgun start as it is known) have been cancelled to minimise social contact, in line with measures already taken in a lot of Europe of totally closing down golf courses will no doubt follow here, though personally I think there is less risk than people still going to supermarkets, though obviously they cannot be closed.

I spoke with my Spanish colleague about this last Thursday. He said the UK's mind set will completely change on this in 2 weeks time when the exponential rate of increase begins to show and everyone will regret that last outing they decided to go on.
Sadly people haven't been following guidelines so until the government enforces lockdown it is likely we'll end up in the same state.
The quicker people listen, the quicker it will be over..... perhaps until the 2nd wave hits in the autumn...😬

Thats a pain ive got every friday booked off of until middle of April i was going to out for 48hrs every weekend
