It's a tricky one the motorbike situation for me
I've been reading up on it, riding one burns 600 calories per hour and it can be done in isolation. Here's the frustrating bit for me. I live near a popular cyclist route and I am sick of seeing groups of cyclists coming up the road puffing and spitting everywhere the dirty ****s. It's like double standards. Think I might stand with a box of eggs and wait for them

Fingers crossed we can go, if even only during the day.

My mistake, He was a bit vague but on sky sports news apparently fishing is allowed. I'm not sure how many fisheries will open up tho

Phased return of secondary schools in England before the summer holidays. Small team sports such as five-a-side football could be allowed, along with outdoor gatherings of fewer than 30 people. Cafes with outdoor seating could reopen while outdoor sports like golf, tennis and angling might resume. Possible return of Premier League matches, although behind closed doors.
End of June MIGHT depending on everything going to plan.

If you're a weekend angler, life is going to be unbearable for the rest of the summer. Even that **** swim in the corner with all the pond scum and empty crisp packets will be tied up

The Environment Agency (EA) has said that in order to keep both ourselves and those around us safe, we should not currently be leaving our houses to partake in fishing.
The EA said: “These are difficult times for everyone and we know that you'll all be impacted in different ways by the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
“This unprecedented situation is changing the way we all go about our daily lives, and the health and safety of our angling community is important to us during this time.
“Please keep safe and well – and, until the guidance changes, be sure to stay at home.”.
The Angling Trust is also campaigning for angling to become one of the first permitted outdoor activities when ministers do review the coronavirus lockdown restrictions.
The Trust has proposed how fishing could be safely permitted as soon as it is appropriate for measures to be eased, in a report entitled ‘When We Fish Again', which has been submitted to Cabinet Office Minister Michael Gove and the Fisheries and Sports Ministers.

I think club waters will find it easier to be responsible as there are less anglers / less human traffic. Day ticket waters will struggle a bit more due to people coming and going / handling of tickets etc.
Don't get me wrong, we all need to act responsibly and you'd be out of your mind to do otherwise..
I personally think it's the go ahead for fishing as he dropped the unlimited exercise bomb and not to mingle with anyone outside your household which suits me down to the ground!
Only problem I can think of is injuring yourself on the bank / driving then putting pressure on the NHS, not to mention probably contracting the covid inside the hospital!
As long as we're sensible I can't see any harm in fishing. The road cyclists do 50 + miles a day, no mention about those?
