So Korda don't produce the jag stuff. I doubt very much they invested in a factory for pva. I also doubt very much they have a welding shop for the carpenter frames as long periods of no stock. And doubt they set up a factory for carp porter luggage. They produce nothing. It's all badged up for them.
A quick Google three companies in the uk produce pva items for fishing none of them are korda. So bought in and badged up.

I've no idea if any changes have been made since Korda bought Carp Porter, but they definitely did have a welding shop making the barrows.
I took my MKIV S back to the Basildon factory for welding on three separate occasions.

Well no ones had stock for weeks and weeks so if they ain't coming in on a slow boat I'd say all the welders have quit.

Have used it and like it - 18lb. Casts well. Haven't had any issues with coiling etc.

I’ve been using the 15lb for a while and it’s ok, nothing special but does a job for a reasonable price. Doesn’t sink that well imo and I’ll be looking for an alternative next time.

I had a decent length of the 18lb green split longitudinally on me first time out.
Never seen this with any other line in my 20 years carp fishing.
Needless to say, it’s no longer on my reels.

Yeah, I’d assumed I’d just gotten a dodgy spool given all the praise I’d heard but once you lose confidence in a line there’s almost no going back unfortunately.
