I seem to remember Nash giving a worm to someone in the 90's and they caught Herman out of Warmwell.

There's lots of none events in the game that base their posts on SM based on what they struggle to read on places like this, **** knows why but they think a like and a kiss arse post puts them closer to a bit of free bait or a discount on their next tackle order
Generally they're lifes none achievers so 50p off a KG and 10% off a terminal tackle order makes them think they're the nect Terry Hearn with their YouTube site.
Personally i sit back and laugh, they'll never be in the swim next to me after 60's because they just dont understand how this game is really played at the highest level.

I hadn't heard about this until this week, I listened to the podcast and thought it was a bit bonkers that a fella has been accused of using hormones to catch a carp...
The fishing Tom Maker does is so far removed from the fishing I do it's almost a different past time in all honesty, I have no interest in his fishing and he'd probably have none in mine either.
Some of the posts on this thread accusing people of all sorts of shenanigans are unbelievable to me, the fact that only one of them has actually called anyone out and there is no real detail about what is actually being done to “cheat” tells me all I need to know. Basically that the people posting don't have any facts, don't really have a clue what they're talking about and are just jumping on a vicious band wagon.
I mean this is Carp Match Fishing in England not the Tour De France fellas.

I've just watched this video... isn't it interesting how we humans take different things from what we see and hear.
From my understanding he says the professor told him they can if needed test the water for trace elements of DNA or something along those lines, not that they actually had tested.
Quite from a few minutes later though “put it in perspective” it's just a bit of Carp Angling that nobody outside told Carp Angling cares about.
