They would need no sense to pay £50 for there,Baden has bigger fish in most of its pools with better facilities and is cheaper.I think Baden are increasing their prices too though but at least people have the chance of a decent fish,im glad I'm on a decent club water away from all this circus ****

Whilst I balk at that price for a normal day ticket I am feeling a little hypocritical as I've been paying more than that to fish Ashmead for a number of years

The stock and general feel of the place is very different to most day ticket lakes, which is why I've been happy paying it (plus the chance of a few historic carp with a 50lb+ mirror and multiple 40lb commons - though I had my target a mid 30 fully scaled last March, put it on the catch reports on here). Just commenting on an element of hypocrisy on my behalf

Winterley is full of bream and never done a 30lb fish,the walk is a joke especially when the bailiff let's his mates drive to the lake.I fished the old match lake more than the so called specimen lake,my mate has never caught a ghost or koi carp (match lake has a few in)

Think Single Scale went as high as 55/56lb. Comes out low 50s/high 40s now I believe. I've fished it once since Skeff sold it and got another booked for this year to see how it has changed under the CS

I used to pay £2 a day to fish it, quite often alone. Now that's value for money.

Not to rub it in, i do feel for you guys having to pay those amounts, but i pay exactly 50 euro's to fish 95% of all waters in holland.
