I think mine is older than that!!
Its not about what the industry thinks is the norm and what people are willing to pay, its where it ends up. It filters all the way down from pods and bivvys to hooks pop ups and swivels.

It's got nothing to do with being triggered. If you think the stuffs over priced then that's your opinion, fair enough, don't buy it. But what you've done is come on here and essentially call my mates crooks and say they are pulling peoples pants down, essentially ripping people off. So I'm not gonna let that pass am I.
It's one thing to dislike a product or the service you received from a business. It's a completely different thing to accuse people you probably don't even know of being dishonest.
It's got nothing to do with being triggered. If you think the stuffs over priced then that's your opinion, fair enough, don't buy it. I disagree fishing in general is an expensive hobby end of. But it also caters for everyone. There are many MANY mid range and low end gear for someone not willing to spend the money that works just as well. Its the way of life whether you buy a car /house/clothes/food the list goes on and on.
At the end of the day going out of your way to talk down on a company you have little to no knowledge of due to their pricing is a bit unfair imo. But hey that's the pc generation everyone has a voice 😂

At no point have i said anyone is a crook or dishonest, you must have difficulty reading mate, all I've said is it's overpriced as have others, not only that I've given Defiant as an example of a company on a much smaller scale/buying power with the same service and quality but at a lower price point. I have Defiant products too.

Material costs by weight are nowhere near the RRP, factor in that a lot of the parts are CNC'd and mass produced labour costs wont be high. Never mind that most overheads, lighting, heating etc will be covered by the parent company JAG are well and truly pulling your pants down.
More ridiculous insults from someone who knows f@@k all. One of my best mates works at jag running production, his son and daughter who ive known since they were small children work at jag, Ash who works at Jag/UPE is one of my customers, I'll be working at his house in a couple of weeks. I know Robbie who actually machines the products and when Ive worked shows for them I've spent weekends away with Tom and Jake. So quite where Jim's arse comes into this I don't know. You really are showing yourself up when you know f@@k all. I'm a JAG fan cos I know so many people there. I've never claimed I work for Jag, in fact I've gone out of my way on loads of occasions to make that quite clear. I don't get paid anything by them, never a penny and I'm not sponsored by them in any way. But the bigger they get, the better and more secure my friends are in their employment. It's called looking out for your mates. You should try it sometime
