it arrived pegs front everything and at that time Solar website had it down as 10kg I knew when I picked it up it was wrong so weighed it there and then 7.4kg the lot still packed mate so with the front off and you dont need all the pegs it will be probably 6 kg

yes its brilliant material 10,000 HH its not silly thin its real quality
and TBH I was always a big fan of aquatex but this newer material is so much better and drys really fast Im now a convert
having major health issues I cant give you first hand info of using it in big storms however I now know of a couple of forum members that use one and give good reports
and I also know 2 guys in my club that have been using one for a few seasons up on the Trent where the weather conditions sort the good from bad shelters trust me people that havent fished up there have no idea some parts its flat all around not hardly a tree or bush literally for miles and the wind gets up with driving rain tests any shelter
they both say its fantastic very solid and really properly waterproof and of course in extreme conditions being brolly based you can lower it right down but if its good hot weather its got a lovely rear vent !
its got brilliant height 150cm none of these hobbit shelters
oh and one changed from a tempest air and the other from a tempest brolly both said best thing they did its one of the reasons I bought one

Thank you gerry I appreciate the info mate, definitely will be purchasing one In the next couple of months just for 24 hour sessions instead of lumping round my advanced tempest

Looking at the vids of this spider bivvy is just a reincarnation of the JRC bloxx compact but with less reliable legs due to the camlocks which will no doubt slip over time.......once you add a groundsheet and front it's not so cheap neither........I'm out......

No the "wychwood tactical brolly" is brilliant but its very low
and in Jan 21 I was not expected to last the week !
as I had developed a tumour in my spine thats broken and pushed our of place 5 vertebra in my back making me now permanently disabled but lucky for me due to my muscular physique with very well developed back muscles I can still walk and drive
but have trouble bending so I sold my Tempest Bivvy and a few other bits and replaced
with 2 shelters that have a lot more height and lighter the Solar undercover Brolly and the bit bigger Solar spider Bivvy
I havent got round to selling the "wychwood tactical brolly" as yet but I will have to fantastic as it is its just too low for me

oh sorry to hear about that..
in regards to "wychwood tactical brolly" i really like it as it looks the biz, just it seems to have mixed reviews, pot like i think with what you get, may go for this "wychwood tactical brolly"
