True. I believe CC Moore sold out of bloodworm as soon as that video hit you tube, maybe it was the addition of it that worked just then, never has for me in the same way, or even close though. Maybe also, the liquid was just the carrier for something else? Citric acid for instance? This could be all that it is, a well dissolved amount into a liquid mix 'could' do this, certainly using it in a bait has benefits at the correct levels but in water dilution it is possible to really increase amounts, it would work better in shallow water and is available from the supermarket, application is the key, so maybe, just maybe this (or something similar) is all it is and no one has been stroke pulling. Time will tell though..!

I think rob Hughes has deleted his FB post about the matter.. I imagine there will be a lull now while they speak to their people and see what best way forward is to deal with it.

I didn't see the Rob Hughes comment but suspect it was him telling everyone to pipe down and there was nothing in it....
Next move of those to whom the fingers are being pointed will be very interesting, they stand to lose a lot, not least their credibility.

Bring back the good old days carp fishing from the 60's and 70's, glad I am coming to the end of my days carp fishing, too commercial and a complete rat race these days!
When too much money being available becomes an issue this usually means a down turn, football is a good example.
Good luck to the catch at all costs brigade, I am sure your days are numbered, like mine (getting old now)!

The thing I find strange is that one of the names banded about belongs to a bait company who's owner has been very vocal about testing baits for these substances. Either said name is innocent, or said bait company and owner will end up feeling a tad let down. The next few weeks are going to be interesting, as one of the accused is going to be bringing out a statement/post soon.

I'm a bit confused by some comments I've just read by Kev Hewitt on the munch baits Facebook post.
In the podcast with Hassan, he states with absolute conviction that his edge (which he basically says triggers an involuntary feeding response) isn't a carp fishing related product that it's taken him years to find and refine.
In the munch baits comments four months later, he says it's bloodworm liquid

I haven't listened back but I'm sure I said it can't be purchased from a tackle shop. Ccmoore bloodworm is only available on the ccmoore website as they don't supply tackle shops with this product.

How has everyone missed the bit where I say anyone using hormones should be banned from every fishery in the country?

Just listened back to that bit and he does say "you can't buy it from a tackle shop" but he also says, "you wouldn't associate it with fishing"......
he also goes onto say about mixing things together and getting the quantities right so it could well be that the base or carrier is indeed liquid bloodworm but he is obviously adding something to it. He does say it is "freely available and completely legal" to be fair.

From what he said in the podcast to what he has written in that munch baits post in relation to what Spod and Yonny have questioned him on doesn't come across great. Seems like he is just digging himself further and further into a hole.
I can understand him wanting to hold on to a edge as much as possible but he is skilled enough regardless of it by all accounts. Why not come out and just say what it is and prove himself? Vs the damage to his personal and sponsor brand that is (rightly or wrongly) being done now.

Did you also see the comment where he said the questions were staged to get the biggest reach. There is no way anyone would agree to get railroaded by a company your not sponsored by and possibly end up ruining your career solely to help them get more views.
