I used 12lb uncoated drennan braid. They both cut it with ease under no tension. They have replaced my owners though as they are a better size and handles are more comfy 👍🏻

Couldn't resist the force of the linky poo any longer so I had to buy a pair of the Cuda scissors. Very sharp and they cut through braid without any fraying.

Ordered some of these a month ago on back order £3.60 on amazon. Its hard to get excited about scissors but Gerry is right, these are fantastic. I've ended up ordering a paor for my dad, and my vintage trusty pair of esp blades have been passed onto my mum for when she secretly takes clippings of plants from national trust gardens

My ones turned up from Gerrys. I now realise why my eBay ones were £9 delivered... They are bigger than the ones that came from Gerrys. The Gerrys ones are quite small in comparison.
Bad news lads... The £9 slightly bigger ones are better

yes I have the 5 inch ones too
but to be honest on the 15lb uncoated braid I didnt see any difference
they are both better than anything sold in the angling shops by a country mile and the 3 inch ones fit in my little tackle box easy
( I paid more on Amazon for the 5 inch they are now cheaper on ebay for that size)
