The problem is simple, it opens the door and provides a benchmark for others to charge a stupidly overinflated price for pop ups, £40ffs!!! (I know his are decent).

Wonder why there are so many hook bait companies popping up. Why would you want to **** about rolling Kgs of food baits when you can earn more selling tubs of 40 or 50 baits, its where the £s are

As usual the anglers will be on the arse end of it as everybody else try's to cash in on it!

The other problem, some will not be as good as others, we will all be paying £20 for a pot of ****ters if we are not careful, maybe ****ing £40

Commercialism killed carpfishing as we know it when it stepped away from the cottage industry. Its full of greedy ****s trying to milk it. £40 for a tub of pop ups is extortionate and blatantly outrageous. I hope people see sense and buy **** all off him

All the feedback last time, sounded to me like he was trying to sell it on and nobody was interested...

See where we are in 12 months, I will say, I told you so

Ingredients are going up, bollox, the carp tax is

You'd think this would be the case wouldn't you. He says on his site "the price point will reflect the limited supply and high prices on ebay" so he's freely admitting it has nothing to do with materials/labour. He's literally seeing how much he can milk his customers for. Now I know his hookbaits are awesome, but there comes a time when you need to realise you're having your pants pulled down.

Absolutely spot on. Wouldn't pi** on him if he was on fire. Taking anglers for mugs, and as for them being the best, they're not

So if known anglers buy them for 45 than he is ok with it if they dont say that they use them? Is that main reason for him closing down (not getting recognition) now out the window with higher price?

Unfortunately there has been a massive influx of mugs into the sport over the years, all ripe for a proper rinsing.

It's a shame the guy will get away with it, there are fools who will pay that kind of money for a tub. Utter madness

I thought this was a wind up at first, that is until I looked on their website.

£45 for a pot of effing pop ups???? 😨

There isn't a universe in existence that I would ever pay £45 for a pot of pop ups. What the hell's happened to carp fishing???

How are they justifying that price ? Am I getting like 5kg of hook baits?
