If you just use a couple of thin wire pegs to hold down a pod then the weight is minimal anyway. If your talking about a full set of proper bivvy pegs then that's a different matter. Even so were going fishing not climbing Everest the hard way.

Im sure they are an aluminium alloy, ive used them for years they are surprisingly strong and light weighing 44g each, they wont be anywhere near as strong as same thickness pegs made from titanium

Keith's look nice just a little expensive I appreciate it's all relative and why bother when you get given a set of Ts I've got a few sets of them kicking around.
I carry twenty of the titanium's both 8” and 6” defo go for the 8” though. I've been more than happy with them.
